Definitely Overlooked

Presumably because of RW and the pre-hype, the movie had high expectations. Therefore, some people will feel that it is not interesting, not worthwhile, and not good-looking. I personally think that the IMDB rating of this film should be at least 7 or above - but IMDB can't explain the problem. Look at the recent (2007) films, many of which have not been hyped in the early stage or have a high score for niche films (people who voted are currently Not much), can illustrate the impact of watching without expectations on a movie.

I just discovered this film by accident, and then I watched it over and over again as if I had found a new world. I also introduced it to countless people and watched it several times with them. I have always liked delicate sci-fi films, not to mention the works inspired by Asimov. Compared with I, robot, Bicentennial Man is much deeper, but the score of the latter is higher than that of the former, which makes me depressed.

Although some film critics here say that love is unnecessary, in fact the love inside is not contrived. But then again, although there is nothing wrong with this, it is a process of commercialization of this movie, so some people will not like it.

All time favorite.

Why do the robots in "Artificial Intelligence" and "Machine Butler" want to become humans? Robots with feelings and thoughts are a hundred times cuter than humans. Humans cannot accept robots. This is a human problem, not a robot problem.

To the three stars is to Robin's acting and film soundtrack and the delicacy of shooting, from the last point of view, better than Edward. However, the topics discussed in the film are seriously lacking in novelty. This is just a love movie dressed in a sci-fi coat. If you take off the sci-fi, it is the Love Notebook. Robots want to become human, want to have love and the end of time, so what do robots do? Seriously against, we are two species and humans are bad

Bicentennial Man quotes

  • Galatea: [singing loudly] If I only had a heart! Picture me a balcony...

    [goes offscreen]

Andrew Martin: [irritated, but not showing it] Do you have an impact drill?

Rupert Burns: Yeah. Over on a rack.

    Andrew Martin: Thank you.

[goes offscreen and starts the drill as Galatea screams]

  • Galatea: [to Andrew, after he's met Rupert Burns] You and me, we're the same!
