Weird because of stupidity

Nominated for the 90th Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay. From the beginning of filming "The Room", I kept laughing. Fu Lanlan's acting skills are truly amazing! But nothing more! The film’s prototype, Tommy, spent six million to shoot a bad film. Some people praised him for his persistent dream, and some people said that he worked hard. The name of the film even praised him as "artist", hehehe! What I saw was a narcissist who was spending a lot of money, leading and acting in a farce, accidentally becoming an internet celebrity. Because he is rich, a group of people on the set accompany him to play the house. He can spend money to buy a complete set of equipment, spend money to build his own studio, and spend money to repair himself a special toilet on the set. The wonderful effect of the filming is not because of insufficient investment, but because of the director's stupidity. Could this be regarded as a persistent dream and an artist? Isn't this world worthy of praise as long as the rich people play whatever they want? !

The film is okay, but the atmosphere of tiff midnight is too good. At the beginning, play inflatable football. After the end, real Tommy showed up and he really talks THAT way, crowd just went fucking wild

James Franco's enthusiasm and hard work as a director and an actor in this project are obvious. In fact, the most important factor for the success of this film, which is a fusion of brother comedy and biography, is his interpretation of the protagonist's three-pointedness in performance and narrative in narrative. In the formula, this film has found a foothold based on brotherhood as the theme, but this way of dealing with the theme from the side obviously lacks deeper thinking that can be traced back to the origin of the protagonist

The Disaster Artist quotes

  • Tommy Wiseau: [while auditioning] The rules to the class are simple.

  • Greg Sestero: [to Carolyn, after she fainted on the set] Can I ask you something? Why do you do it? You've got a husband, grand-kids. You live fifty miles out of town. And you're waking up at 5, driving all this way, for what?

Carolyn Minnott: We're actors, Greg. For you, me, people like us, even the worst day on a movie set is better than the best day doing anything else.
