On the whole, I still like Ben X, because I do have a certain degree of discussion on autism, at least I have introduced autism to the audience.
Some of the problems are that the propaganda in the early stage is suspenseful. What is a suspenseful film with an unpredictable ending, and how is it reversed? This film is not like this at all. This is a story about an autistic youth who was expelled from society and could not reconcile with his family, so that he could not reconcile with himself. In the end, he expressed his appeal through some means, and The world is reconciled, that's all.
From this point of view, I think this is the perspective of the film. There is no reversal gimmick. We can see how a smart person closes himself up little by little. He understands the surrounding environment very well, but he is also very Afraid, he didn't know how to express it, so he could only choose to shrink back to protect himself. He has good grades in studies and a very smart mind. He chooses to use a voice to resist other people's voices. He can cross the entire continent to rescue the girl he likes.
There is a line in it that makes sense. One of the reasons for his various problems is that he does not know how to lie to himself, so he began to lie to himself, and then to everyone. The problem was finally solved. He first found a way to reconcile with himself, and then I also learned how to reconcile with the people around me.
So, it's really a story of lies and reconciliation.
In addition, although some complaints are ugly, they are not unreasonable. This indeed tells a story from autism to schizophrenia.
