It is obviously not strong enough. I see that the IMDB score is quite high at 8.0. Is it because there are fewer movies recently reflecting war themes, or the movie needs to explain more issues.
I know that the actors in this film are very dedicated. There are a few scenes that are difficult to act (eating insects, skinny, blood-sucking insects, eating snakes, etc.) Details abound.
There are several places in this film that only have antecedents and no consequences, and it takes too many scenes. I don't know whether to write the Vietnamese as stupid, or to treat the audience as fools. It is better to change the film into a documentary, a memoir, Take the time to let everyone understand the background from other aspects, which is also more convincing.
I watched it once, but I didn't watch it twice, Desire and Courage.
