The fifth part of the old tower, in fact, the first impression is that it is similar to "Mirror", and it feels a little bit incomprehensible. Although it is said that none of the old tower's films can be understood, but I always feel that the stalker and the mirror are the kind of feeling that if you don't understand it, you will lack a lot of things. Sacrifice and nostalgia, on the other hand, are less likely, and their themes are simpler.
I watched it on the big TV for an hour and a half, and it was really sleepy; then I watched it for 2 minutes the next day, the hard drive was damaged, and the data could not be read; after two days, the new hard drive was downloaded in a hurry, Finished the breath.
Generally speaking, it was only in the last 40 minutes or so that I knew what Laota wanted to say. I think these three are actually like three different aspects of human progress, the writer is the sensibility, the physicist is the rational; and the stalker is a third person. Such third parties have historically been called by many names; religious, psychoanalytic, witches, and even so-called postmodernists... When walking to that room, almost always The stalker decides how to go, and the writer always goes first. And in the end, the people who want to destroy that place with a nuclear bomb (perhaps) are the most rational physicists.
The whole set design of "The Zone" is amazing! There is nothing greener than the green after 40 minutes of dark brown. When the car traveled to "The Zone", a piece of green at first glance made me feel the most primitive yearning and joy for green in my heart. And water is also, clear and transparent water is not only a fluid and changeable substance; it is also the carrier and solvent of all substances. We poured waste chemical solutions into it, still put radioactive material in it, put blood in it, and even dropped flowers, pistols, bombs into it, and let these foreign objects occupy their original space.
A return to faith seems inevitable for everyone walking into such a zone. It should also be normal to have a sense of awe when stepping into an unknown area. But the writers and professors seem like outings, wanton trampling on the "holy place" in the stalker's heart. And when they got to the shroud of Jesus, when the stalkers asked them to confess, they wanted to blow up the place...
On the other hand, it is interesting that such a holy place was built, or existed on such a ruin. Such a site was built and abandoned by humans. But as the stalker said, all of this is natural, and in the most barbaric places there is the most primitive life, and even the mother of the most primitive life-"water" exists. (There is even a dog, but I don't quite understand what this dog means, but I don't want to think too much about it)
Leaving aside the topic, if nuclear radiation is also a kind of nature, how should we understand the animals and insects that mutate due to nuclear radiation?
I think artistically, this film is only weaker than sacrifice. After all, I am a person who likes impact, and it feels like such a tonal change is too impactful. And the texture of the wall in the room at the beginning of the film, I can feel every stripe on it, as if I can breathe the air in the decaying wooden house. But one thing to say, the dune didn't give me any shock, maybe it was too much expectation; and the contrast in the real film was not as high as in the stills, so I was a little disappointed.
Overall, this is a movie that I can give a 5 star plus. It's almost the same level as sacrifice, but it's close to flying into space. But this is only a personal emotion. If it is based on reason, it is actually difficult to compare the good and the bad of these films together.
