The director of the film didn't even know what a horror movie was. Or maybe he just shot it as a feature thriller.
There is a big problem with the structure of the story. This is the template for a suspense thriller. Take the female police detective's investigation as a clue to gradually deepen. More than ten minutes passed before I finished explaining the female detective. This keeps the horror episodes on hold again and again. In addition, the director separates the stories of the victims, forming the first part to focus on explaining the victims and stories, and the second half to focus on how the victims were killed. There are breaks in the plot and no coherence. Again, the scary plot is missing most of the time ahead. In the end, the female police detective's investigation is the main line, interspersed with the experience of the victims, the matching between the two is not coordinated and is very blunt. The way the plot is connected is also very low.
As a horror film, the creation of a horror atmosphere is the top priority. However, the whole film is flat and straightforward, and it is rarely seen to create an atmosphere. It is also positive hard steel for the horror plot show. There is no side detour, and the operation of ambush at night can scare talents. All that's left is a shocking, disgusting trick.
Regarding the presentation of the horror plot, I vaguely feel that the director has fundamentally misunderstood it. In terms of shooting skills, more choices are made to shock or puzzle the characters in the play, but the audience can understand and watch it calmly. . . For example, when the old lady went to the supermarket to buy ingredients, the impact of the picture was not big. And the players were really taken aback.
The rhythm of the whole film is unhurried. The content design of the story, the use of shots, the composition of the picture, and the layout of the scene are not qualified.
As a Grudge fan, I know a lot of people who know this movie sucks, but still brush it again. I wanted to recommend watching movies while playing games. But I think that most people will not understand the plot, because the narrative structure of this film is rather chaotic. Watch it carefully, you can't watch it anymore, it's not worth it. Ugh. . . . . .
