"Shame" - when I want to know the historical, political background interspersed throughout the film. I was terrified that it would disturb my understanding of the plot, and this time the answer was no. The setting of the characters, the control of the shooting rhythm, the director and his team have all presented the best version in their eyes with great care. Careful carving... "Shame" is a work with strong "craftsmanship". The feeling of the film is that it has a very high degree of completion, neat chapters, every detail, and fun. The whole film deliberately blurs the bloodier and unreasonable conflicts in the real society. Starting from a small personal conflict, it rose to two families, two ethnic groups... and finally back to the individual, back to the basic right and wrong between people, good and evil. The ending of the film is also "Hollywood-flavored". The two look at each other and tacitly understand each other, which warms the heart to the point where people feel that social problems are just people's problems, and it seems to be saying that compared to the settlement outside court , the verdict in court is not that important. The sound and light effects of the film are also very good, the bright colors give me a lively Lebanon. What is commendable is that the film also grasps the rhythm of movement and stillness. I think this contest between movement and stillness is still happening between politics and art. The active and surging social movement seems to be prosperous and slogans are loud, but in the end, it has spawned even more. Mostly mistrust and hatred of each other. And the film tells me to just watch and listen, not to say anything, because in many cases it is not society that needs to be changed, but us.
