Horror movie market is getting bleak and sluggish, either old-fashioned and not new, or direct use of classic horror movie IPs. Before watching horror movies, I was so scared that I crushed the popcorn in my hand, and I could choke when I drink Coke. Now watching horror movies is ; "Hahaha, it's so funny, what's the film, Ollie!". Don't say that Asian big IP horror films are not easy to use when they are set in Europe and America. The American version is damn perfect, right? There is also Wen Ziren's Soul Conjuring and Hidden series back then, how classic.
And after this grudge, which can be called Japan's biggest horror film IP, was made into the US version, the whole film felt like that. . . Depressed? I'm afraid it doesn't count. It can only be said to be quiet. You can watch it at night and fall asleep. What's the scary point? Didn't see it at all. I always feel that I can't catch what the audience wants, and now American horror movies have a big misunderstanding. I always think that seeing strange-looking creatures, or very bloody, or a bunch of bugs on the corpse, can be scary, please! What's the difference between frightening a child with a caterpillar? That's disgusting, not scary, okay? Why don't I just watch a zombie movie? The real horror is not to suddenly see some blood, corpses, a bunch of bugs, but to feel something, as if to hear something, but see nothing, but she is always by your side. Why do American horror movies always look like zombie movies now? Is it that hard to get a thrilling atmosphere? Even if it is the series of the death of the year, although it is not scary, at least it is very cool to watch. Can you, fellow horror film directors, have a snack, please? Even if you don't look at the problem from the audience's point of view, then you finished the movie yourself, don't you watch it again? Don't you know what you're shooting?
If you recall carefully, the only horror movies you can watch in the past two years are the unnamed female corpse. The hairs stand up all the way. When reviewing the plot, it is very scary. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend watching it. I really can’t think of the rest. . If there are any good horror movies in the past two years, I hope you can recommend them to me.
