"Sommersby" has a beautiful Chinese name, quite beautiful. It's pretty well that finally i could be able to see it. Gathering all peopleo's effort to rebuild home is a scene so encouraging. The war changed many things, and the presence of Mr. Sommersby gives people faith ang hope. As for Mrs. Sommersby, she needs a man, a husband to complete the home, to help her find the sense of safety, no matter he is not the one she had expected. The fake Mr. Sommersby would raher die to exchange his identity, for he has got what he had never had: love from home, respect from the villagers, and self confidence from people's trust. So, everyone has got what they want, but only the love doesn't get satisfied. He just can't stay with her and grow old together. My tear drops when he calls her name and she runs to him.
