"The King's Team" is a film I accidentally watched, but it unexpectedly fits my taste. I can't tell who the hero is, and even the translation is so bad that I don't understand the whole ins and outs. But I like the handsome, weak-eyed, expressionless man inside. He is an employee of the king, which is what we call a government civil servant. The only difference is the king, who trusts him very much. Because behind him is the king's enemy.
This king is likable, a man who was taken advantage of but rose up again on his own strength. He uses two straws when he drinks soda, and only drinks soda. Originally a small man, with the dream of standing out, relying on his own understanding of politics, he climbed to the highest peak. It's a pity that he is too far from the traditional power, and he doesn't want to be pulled down, so the final choice is to be more despicable than those enemies. What he said was very classic: "It's obviously a state's public resources. Why is only one company profiting from it?" This is also a question I can't understand. Who regards the state's resources as a tool for making money?
The king's employee ended up killing his beloved for the king's sake, even though he was only telling the truth. The king was finally shot and killed by a good man who had been a partner but was deceived, and as the two lay at the door of the parliament, blood soaked the ground in fairness.
It's a good ending to see a regular, political ending, and that's death, or just death. Even if you are doing what you think is right, you will inevitably do some dirty things. In this circle, no country is innocent.
This king was pulled down, who is the next king?
How is your end?
