The cost of the film is 75 million, and the box office is only 100 million; the freshness of Rotten Tomatoes is 18%, and the fame and fortune are on the street. Don't talk about money here, it's too vulgar. Let's talk about this film that is barely a comedy and sci-fi.
I don't know why, when Adam's team makes a movie, you can't fault it, but it's always not brilliant or successful. Unlike the bad movies in the past, you can always pick out some logic, plot or acting problems in other movies. But Adam's movie, you can hardly find the problem, but after watching it, there is always a feeling of "what's the matter with this film".
If you compare "Pixel Wars" with the recently popular "Invincible Destruction King", you can find the problem of Adam's team. It is also a movie based on nostalgic games. The former tastes like chewing wax, and the latter wants to revisit it after watching it. Because the latter is like an unrestrained artist with extraordinary talent. The former is like the high-scoring composition of the League Party Secretary, the structure is strictly in accordance with the total score of the teacher, using famous quotes, plus various modifications, no typos, no excessive word count, but equally, there is no emotion.
The biggest problem with the entire "Pixel Wars" movie is boredom. The Three Musketeers of Adam's team were expressionless when they talked about the jokes, as if they were reading a book. Jokes are really hard to laugh at. It can be seen that they worked hard in every funny part, but no talent is no talent. Adam thinks he has a logic to make customers laugh, but he doesn't.
There are too few easter eggs. Comparing with "King of Destruction", it can be seen that only a few old games are supporting the whole movie.
The level of the actors is really poor, from the children at the beginning to the adults later. What kind of reaction should be given to what situation, they did not do it, and only used one face to face the audience throughout the whole process.
When watching other bad movies, I can at least find some bright spots, and I will feel that it is worth watching. But this "Pixel War", I feel like a waste of time after reading it. So youth is precious, I do not recommend you to watch this film, goodbye.
