Looking at the number of episodes and box office history of all Hollywood game adaptations of live-action movies, there is no doubt that the Resident Evil series is the most successful. But I don't know if the director Paul is a person who likes to control the length of time. Except for the last part, which is 106 minutes, the rest are controlled within 100 minutes. And the first two are very engaging, but I don't know why the latter ones can go the pure popcorn route. There is no connotation, good and evil human nature and other content that people can discuss after watching. Maybe this series of games are also pure popcorn flavor. However, it can be analyzed that even if it is a senior fan who likes games no matter how much, shooting a complete series of 6 films in a row takes more or less imagination, innovation and creativity, and the integrity of the story.
But it is undeniable that this series beat Prince of Persia, Need for Speed, Warcraft, Assassin's Creed, Tomb Raider and other single masterpieces.
