The original reason for watching this film was because I liked cats. I thought it was a movie about stray cats in Paris being pampered and cute. After watching it, I found out that it was quite the opposite of what I originally imagined.
But not disappointed.
The cat here is not a cute image, but very smart, very "powerful", very "fierce" and "wild".
The content of the cat catching insects to repay the girl is actually not cute, but it is very real. As a person who hates bugs very much, I also feel warm when I see that the little girl cherishes the insects that the cat brings back every day. Because cats and cats bring back bugs every day, and because little girls cherish them.
The most touching part is that after the mother said that the bugs are not good, the cat changed to bring a beautiful bracelet home, which is too smart and too warm.
There are also a lot of good-looking parts other than cats.
The dog who has contracted all the laughs is also a foreshadowing while being funny; the line picture when the thief is going to save the little girl when the lights are turned off; the giant statue that the big villain thinks about has made his death...
All in all a really great short film. But in the end I still gave it four stars, because the thief is a thief after all, and although he has a good heart, he still can't accept that he can live happily without punishment (although it may be the part that was not punished in the first place).
