This is a fascinating movie! This film is a biopic of folk singer Dave Van Ronk, presenting the audience a week in the singer's life.

In the film, the protagonist Llewyn (Llewyn) is a homeless folk singer who goes to The Gaslight Cafe (The Gaslight Cafe) part-time weekly performances, and sleeps at a friend's house at night. Even though he was beaten last night, he started the week on a regular basis - scrambling around friends, ex-girlfriends and sister's house every day - he didn't make any money on his records and lost his friend's cat , and enlarged his ex-girlfriend's belly... But he still believes in his talent and fights for every opportunity. He firmly believes that he can become the lead singer, but the death of his partner makes him haunt him. Failing to sing, he tried to work at sea, but found that he had lost his seaman's card. He can only go back to the bar stage, sing songs of his partner who never sings publicly, and continue to be knocked down before the start of the next week. This is the week for the protagonist, LeVine. Levine lay on the ground, watching the man who beat him drive away. Eh, now that the cat has returned home, his ex-girlfriend has also forgiven him. Time is always discrete between segments of a film. Some bridges have cause and effect, while some bridges have only cause, and some have only effect. The sadness of the protagonist while waiting for the bus alone is also vividly shown through the camera.

At the same time, the cat that runs through the film not only makes the film interesting, but also a symbol of the rich who oppress young people. The cat represents the rich life that LeVine seeks as his friend, and fits LeVine's fate this week. Eventually, the rich man's cat came home, and LeVern's cat dragged his legs and crawled into the bushes by the side of the road.

For Le Verne, his ideal is to have a good life based on his talents. But for a dreamer, a week may be too short. LeWine may need dozens of weeks like this to realize his dream. This movie brings any imagination to the audience, there is no hint, there is no so-called beauty, and even the empathy with the audience is negative. It's all dramatized reality.
