class society.

When I first looked for the name of the movie, I saw it as a documentary.
But ten minutes later. I found that the film incorporates too many subjective feelings of the author.
It is not a simple documentary.

The subject matter of the film's narrative is a little heavy.
Especially when the real war scene is presented in front of you.
Involuntarily feeling cruel is not enough to describe a war.

But the movie is played with lighthearted music most of the time.
Kind of ironic.

The director isn't just discussing a war. A terrorist attack.
Rather, it is reflecting on the causes of war.
Is it because of the interests of the few at the expense of fanatical young and loyal lives?

The monologue at the end is very moving.
Touching and very sad.

It is a voice that people living at the bottom of the class cannot shout.
Speaking from the video.

Suddenly, after reading it, I feel that communism is king.
Elimination of class is king.
It turns out that communism is not ideal. Not fanciful.
equality. free.
What these capitalist societies clamor and pride themselves on turns out to be mere show.

The movie itself may be just part of the show.

The audience has a sense of being pulled from one extreme to the other.
lost. Very lost.

The film uses a lot of contrast.

Different people say the same thing.
Different people say different things.
The same people say different things.
The same people say the same things.

It all sounds powerful.

A very memorable sentence.
They sacrificed their lives in exchange for our freedom.
so. We don't have to be soldiers.

The first half is very interesting, an alternative interpretation.

I was shocked when I first saw it

Fahrenheit 9/11 quotes

  • Richard Clarke: [referring to the Bush Administration] They put only 11,000 troops into Afghanistan. There are more police here in Manhattan. More in Manhattan than there are U.S. Troops in Afghanistan. The president botched the response. He should have gone after bin Laden. The U.S. Special Forces didn't get into the area where bin Laden was for two months!

  • Narrator: [referring to homeland security] Okay, let me see if I've got this straight. Old guys in the gym: bad. Peace groups in Fresno: bad. Breast milk: really bad. But matches and lighters on the plane? Hey, no problem.
