Aslan: I have another name in your world

What I watched in Hong Kong was at half past five on Friday. There are only thirty or forty people in the hospital, and a lot of teenagers. I believe that the audience of this movie comes with the mentality of watching fairy tales and science fiction films. Without a deeper Christian background, it is difficult to see the moral of some plots and dialogues in the play (or the original).

In "The Lion King, the Witch and the Wardrobe", it is most obvious that the Lion Aslan is the sacrificed Christ. It is difficult for people who do not know Christianity to understand. Confidence in "Prince Caspian". And all kinds of temptations about people's hearts in this episode: wealth, power, appearance. The author of the book is a famous Christian theologian, of course he has Christian faith in many plots and dialogues. You can see how deep the faith is. At the end Aslan said: I have another name in your world. That is the God of Christianity.

The Chronicles of Narnia has seven original works. Now I have taken three copies. I don't know if the other four books will be made into movies in the end. I am looking forward to The Last Battle.

The story lacks a sense of ups and downs, and is not attractive enough to enter the scene. Some scenes are not bad. I don't know what it is expressing as a whole. It is a very ordinary film that I watched muddledly.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader quotes

  • [last lines]

Eustace Clarence Scrubb: We spoken often of Narnia in the days that followed. When my cousins left after the war ended, I missed them with all my heart, as I know all Narnians will miss them 'til the end of time.

  • Dufflepud #2: [Eustace is snoring] It seems they've brought a pig with them.
