The whole movie is like a dream.
The narration is like a dream, with scenes that come and go, without obvious logic, and the colors are sometimes black and white and sometimes colorful. The protagonist is completely guided by intuition, thinking and logic are skipped directly. Thoughts that pop up in your head turn directly into actions.
The actions of the two heroines are like two unwilling to be bound, two crazy consciousnesses manifesting in the material world. It is also like the self-entertainment and discussion of the two inner self, imagination and consciousness are reality.
Dreams, intuition and logic have always been two subjects that have attracted me and made me curious. Why do people respect reason and logic? Why suppress emotion? Why do people have to conform to social standards? What is the meaning of being in the world? What will my action bring? When I look at the daisies, I seem to experience the feeling of dreaming again.
A random thought, acting with intuition and sixth sense is fascinating. I have to say, I also really want to live by my intuition. The above reasons make this movie so impressive to me and make me prefer it even more.
This movie has been included in my favorite and has influenced me a lot. Seeing that movies can still be made like this, there are various forms of artistic expression. The name of director Vera Chytilova has been memorized very well, and I really appreciate it.
