According to Wong Kar-wai's interview, "The True Story of Ah Fei" was originally going to be filmed in two films, and Tony Leung was the protagonist of the second film - another "A Fei". This clip is the transition between the first part and the second part.
Unfortunately, because the box office of "A Fei Zhengzhuan" was not satisfactory, the plan to shoot the second part was also in vain. Nonetheless, these three-minute performances regained Tony Leung's confidence in performances and allowed him to see the possibility of another performance.
