After watching the BBC TV series, I look forward to the film directed by Ang Lee. I'm also more interested in Jane Austen's books. I feel like she's dissecting human nature very well. There are many things in the real world that conflict with love, and the characters in the play may give people more inspiration.
Elinor undoubtedly represents sanity, and so does Edward, who is responsible for his promises, choosing the latter between fame and fortune and simple happiness. Although Marianne seemed more love-minded in comparison, it was understandable for a girl of that age to be impulsive, bold and proud. Women hate being deceived, but they can't change their natural love of sweet talk. In the end, Marianne also realized that to truly understand a person is not to listen to what he said, but to see what he did or did not do.
Personally, I like the eldest sister very much. The heroine who may be more arrogant and prejudicial to her, Elinor sees things clearly, hides pressure in her heart, and treats her feelings rationally.
btw Big cousin playing Edward I am too?️! And the scenery of the English countryside is simply too beautiful! !
