I haven't read the original book seriously, but I'm expressing my opinion from the perspective of the TV series.
The end of the play tells us that the Count is actually not afraid of the sun or the cross, and can enter other people's places without being invited.
However, the protagonists rely on nothing but legends.
In the end, the Count did not know why he chose to die, but because he sucked the blood of the heroine who was suffering from cancer.
Then, there is an interesting bug in the whole play,
Vampires, neither living nor dead, are "undead" in the play's vocabulary.
So, can a species between life and death be killed with cancer?
Then, I have a little question, why does the earl see an ugly face in the mirror, and the cremated woman looks the most beautiful in the mirror?
If the mirror shows the soul, does it mean that the earl's soul has decayed?
