The original work was translated into Chinese with nearly 500 pages of Chinese characters, and Jin Min was mainly truncated and adapted from the first 2/5. Although the movie is very erotic, it can only be regarded as the tip of the iceberg for the large-scale sexual description of the original book.
The plot of the friends who watched it for the first time and the Gay branch line is indeed too subtle compared to the original work. If you don't invest in it, you may not be able to see it at all. But in just 90 minutes of footage, it was just right. People can't help but sigh: Jin Min's untimely death is really a pity and a pity.
The first and last echoes of Chiba and Tokita's love line, coupled with the prelude of "Drop い っ ぱ い の Memory", are really wonderful. When the music plays and the screen flashes back to the beginning of the story, Chiba's light and gentle love becomes incomparably warm.
Of course, for this extremely rare and masterpiece psychological animation film, there is also a vivid description and analysis of psychological confusion such as schizophrenia, delusion, depression and so on in the original book. For example, "It's this kind of character that is prone to depression: succumbing to rules, avoiding fighting with people, taking a cowardly attitude of backing down when confrontation is imminent, and so on."
The picture sense of electronic sound is a lot of circles and water waves. The unrestrained dream battle and the interspersed intersection of many dreams are the divine power of Jin Min's inspiration. These various human figures, who are unscrupulous and marching in a morbid world, finally take off their heavy disguise in the only real dream (delusion).
