Directed by Jan Komasa, the film follows 20-year-old Daniel's spiritual transformation while living in a youth correctional facility. He wanted to be a priest, but his criminal record made his ideal impossible. And when he's sent to work in a small town's carpenter's workshop, he disguises himself as a priest and takes over the parish by accident. The young, charismatic missionary came to a community that had just experienced tragedy, and the rebuilding of the community gave Daniel unlimited opportunities.

There is a slight lack of narrative ability, but it does not prevent it from becoming a good film; it is about a process of shaping oneself; if the vision provided by the director can be more precise and denser, maybe he can make this character hidden. That "calm restlessness" was filmed. Sorry now. Alas, I really want to see clearly this young man's burning, turbid desire, ruthlessly beaten by reality, and a mess of heart.

72/100 A grand Christian cosplay show. The narration is the style of Eastern European movies. I can understand it at first glance. Many fragments of the story need to be watched repeatedly to have a deeper understanding. In fact, the persuasiveness of the epiphany of the young priest is not enough, which makes the drama of a group of redeemed people not well displayed. But with a clear structure, we can also understand the implications. The difficulty of people's transition of identity and the cruelty of the fate of the environment.
