plot
In the Netherlands during World War II, Ellis, a Jewish girl, was betrayed by a traitor in order to escape, and her relatives were brutally killed by the Germans. The surviving Ellis joined the resistance group and contributed to the resistance to German fascism. An accident led to the exposure of transported weapons and equipment, and some members of the resistance group were captured by the Germans and imprisoned. To save them, Ellis was appointed as a female spy, using a beauty trick to break into the enemy's interior and seduce Muntze, a German officer. Although Muntze was cautious and skeptical, Ellis captured Muntze's heart with his wit and boldness. In the follow-up process of getting along, Ellis found Muntze's kindness and demeanor as a German, so he fell in love with the officer. Unexpectedly, Muntze's kindness was reported by his colleague Franken. He was deemed to have violated Hitler's orders and was imprisoned. The resistance organization learned of the traitor through the bug Ellis smuggled. It was the traitor who pretended to rescue the Jews and plotted a right-hand murder plot with Franken, a German officer. As a result, the resistance group assassinated the traitor together, and Franken was cut off from his fortune. He was determined to take revenge and prepared to execute the arrested members of the resistance group as soon as possible. The resistance organization robbed the prison overnight, but unexpectedly, the losses were heavy. It turned out that Franken already knew that Ellis was a spy. In front of the wiretap, Franken deliberately made the resistance group misunderstand that Ellis was an accomplice in his own scheme. Ellis was also jailed and later rescued with Muntze by female partner Ronnie. They who escaped from the German territory suddenly learned of the liberation of the Netherlands, and they returned to the city as traitors, Muntze was executed, and Ellis was dung and humiliated. Later, Ellis was rescued by Hans of the resistance organization, but found that Hans wanted to kill himself, and Ellis fled in a panic. Hans is the bad guy behind the traitor above. The escaped Ellis explained everything to the members of the resistance group, so they conspired and killed Hans.
Evaluation
See, this movie has a lot of information, and it can be arranged into two movies: the love story of a female spy and an officer, and who is the Boss. Due to the large amount of information, some details were not handled properly, and there were many loopholes. Some characters and scenes seemed to have unclear motives: For example, Franken, as a German officer, knew that Ellis was a spy. In front of the resistance group, a scene of complicity with Ellis was deliberately performed, causing Ellis to be misunderstood; Hans had been accompanying the organization to life and death in the first two hours of the film, and the next second he became a bad guy. In front of the performance of "doing your best" for the organization, it seems that it is not the same thing. For the sake of money, you need to act so much? In the middle of Franken's time, he was almost killed by the Germans.
There is a reason why this movie didn't win many awards. However, despite the flaws, the movie still has some good points. For example, the female spy and the military officer have been compared with Lust and Caution from suspicion to trust. Ellis was discovered by Muntze that his hair was dyed black, and he took the initiative to take the position, proving himself with golden pubic hair (also dyed); and Muntze pointed a gun at Ellis, Ellis looked aggrieved, and asked Muntze to put down the gun and kiss him; After knowing that Muntze was killed by the Germans himself despite his liberation, Ellis fell into a breakdown, trembling all over and said, "When is it going to be a head?" These paragraphs are still very exciting.
Finally, I offered this soul-stirring photo, good noon, let's cook.
