The villain is immortal, there is no difference between wanting those keys and not wanting those keys.
The protagonist's family has so many keys that they don't make good use of them.
The music box key can be used to control Sam from the beginning, no one uses it, but Kinsey uses it as a jewelry box.
The guy in the mental hospital doesn't care either.
Then Rufus's mother, knowing that opening the black door and being shot by bullets can be immortal, but told the protagonist's family that the bullet was dangerous, and finally killed herself.
There are too many pitfalls, too late to vomit one by one.
In short, why is the stuff that Netflix produces more and more crap?
