Darkness and tragedy of the Motown

Detroit, the Motor City, one of the biggest city in the US Back to 1960s, the black communities start throwing rocks at police cars and they would later set fire to various buildings. This was considered the start of the Detroit City riots and loots. Everything is in chaos. National Guard and the Army came.

I was swearing in my head when this movie ended. Can't believe this is happening in the US Fuck that stupid negro play with the toy gun. Fuck those police, they shouldn't torture and gunshot the innocent people. Poor black kids. Like in the movie, the black brother in the court said: "There's no justice here, and go fuck yourself, man."

I respect brother Larry, he is so talented, great R&B singer with angel voice, a shame that he couldn't sing in the stage no more. Damn, he can really sing!

Not sure what Detroit is gonna be like and survive in the future.

Although I know it is an adaptation of a real event, the last 30 minutes are too much for the perception. It turns an event movie that was so fierce and heart-pounding into a babbling history lesson. Bigelow is undoubtedly the best female director of this era. In the first 110 minutes, he managed the complex plots of the characters in layers, and the psychological intensity is really more than that of men. Detroit with no one, only two skin tones!

A person like Bigelow who can narrate complex group portraits smoothly with his skillful hand-held hands, I have the impression that Waida and Rosie can be a half higher than that, and it is worth getting up early on Sundays and forgetting to take the monthly card. What's wrong is that although a single incident can make the rhythm tight and affect the emotions, it hurts the subsequent influence. Will Poulter has literally changed my mind about the meat world, and hopefully awards season gives some rewards.
