Souls that have been wandering for many years, maybe just for the encounter at this moment

I recently made up for the 2011 reset of the hunter, to write some thoughts after reading it.

First of all, let me say some of my main views on the hunter and this 2011 version:

1. The hunter is really good-looking, and Fu Jian's work style is also very interesting. But there is no need to hold the altar . Hunter is just one of many excellent works, and it is not perfect. To be honest, people who can turn comics into works of art, IMHO, have basically never seen the world. Of course, my definition of art may be different from yours. If you have reached the realm where you can see the golden quadrangle by looking at the leaves, then I apologize to you for my remarks (lying) .

2. About the old and new versions of animation. It's a matter of opinion, I personally prefer this new version that is close to the original. I think I've done a good job in both literature and play.

3. My personal opinion on the role of Xiaojie (although I prefer the transliteration of Xiaogang) has experienced: boring -> hey, it seems a bit interesting -> what a trough -> a little oil on the trough ->... (I don't know how to express this moment inner feelings) ->... (silent standing ovation), this process. At the same time, I think it can also be summed up as the process of my view on the work of Hunter.

4.... I will always like the little angel of Qiyi.jpg

Next start the text.

A short story about the pit hunter

Generally speaking, my personal habit of watching things is that there are original works. I try to read the original works first, so I actually wanted to start from the comics. But to be honest... no gnawing (scratching head). In the early days of the original comics, the occasional sketchy style that was caught off guard and the large paragraphs of rich text in the style of Fujian really made my head hurt when I read it.

Here I would like to make two points that I often mention:

1. No work can be accepted and liked by all audiences.

2. The brilliance of some works is reflected in the author's unique style and logic. If you like this unique style, you will like the work very much, otherwise you will feel unacceptable. This unique style should be called a feature, not an advantage. Those that can be accepted by the majority of the audience are called merits.

For Hunter's work, many audiences who like him like Fu Jian's maverick style. I can summarize it as follows: anti-routine so often that you can't guess what will happen next, don't promote the main theme, don't Combat and combat effectiveness are used as the main means of narration, and the logic of personal style is very strong, so many points.

So for me when I was reading manga at the time... and Fu Jian's writing style (that's right) really didn't match up with the radio waves. I feel that there are often very logical dialogues and plots, and then I am not very suitable for the occasional rough painter in the comics at first. I know that many people say that Fujian's painting and mirroring are very good, but when I saw it at the time, I really felt bad. I have also dissed some people who couldn't read the original comics because they couldn't accept the style of painting and so on. It wasn't until I met the hunter that I realized that I also had comics that I really couldn't bear (covering my face).

And to be honest, Fu Jian's logic is sometimes so strong that his personal style is a bit nonsense . The JOJO I like very much often has very nonsense logic in it, but at least I feel it can be accepted. There's a lot of logic in the hunter... I really feel unacceptable. So like I said just now, some of the works are brilliant in the author's unique style and logic, which should be called features rather than merits. If you also find some of the scenes and dialogues in the hunter very inexplicable, you should understand what I am talking about.

So after reading the comics, Xiaojie and Qiyi resolutely turned to the 2011 version of the animation after they learned the ability to read in the challenge tower.

Then I feel like I have met what I wanted to meet. The soul that has been hesitating for a long time has finally found a place to rest.

(Do you think the title of the article is about the ant king? Too sweet young man)

(Just kidding...)

In short, after gnawing on a few volumes of comics very painfully, watching the 2011 version of the animation is really comfortable. It just so happened that the plot also arrived at the wonderful Phantom Troupe chapter in the first half. For me personally, the previous hunter exams were just introductions to the characters, and the story of the brigade didn't really begin. So let's start the next topic from the tour group.

About the Phantom Troupe

From the brigade chapter, I began to understand Fu Jian's completely anti-routine style of plot. In fact, I have always regarded the hunter as an orthodox young man who deviates from the main theme. It is the kind of routine in which the protagonist has always encountered a strong enemy with mountains outside the mountains and then cultivated new abilities. It's the style of walking. But in the brigade chapter, I realized that I can't look at the hunter in the eyes of an orthodox juvenile manga.

Of course, what is an orthodox juvenile manga of the jump system, I don't dare to say that my understanding is correct because I haven't watched it much. I personally understand that one of the characteristics of orthodox shounen manga is a reasonable and gradual increase in combat power, as well as a plot driven by combat. At the beginning, it was Shiro and Zaibujian, then the ninja companions of the same period, then Gaara, then the five sons, and then the curse mark Sasuke. During the period, I will give you some unbeatable Orochimaru brother and control itachi to let the protagonist know that there are mountains outside the mountains, and then another passing jiraiya will help the protagonist improve his combat effectiveness. By the way, get a skill that can be shouted out and fight the enemy. It mainly depends on a belief and perseverance. If you really can't beat it, you will explode with unknown abilities, but in the end, you usually rely on the tenacity of the protagonist to defeat the enemy, and by the way, sort out the three views of the other party that have gone astray. In short, the overall style is to talk about an idealism, relying on hard work and friendship to win.

But what about the tour group.

Suddenly a few big guys who can be named in the industry are brought to you and it is a head-to-head confrontation. A few people who look very conspicuous are killed by Wo Jin like crushing ants, and the ability of the protagonist group is in At the beginning of the development stage, no matter how you look at it, the combat power of the disparity is there. It's like a group of children with small slingshots facing a group of beasts that eat people and don't spit out bones.

I don't think I can fight this battle.

As a result, Kurapika, who should be at the same level as Xiaojie according to common sense, went to meet the enemy like sending death, but staged battles that crossed the level again and again, and really beat the originally strong Vol'jin without any temper. In the end, he simply took his life.

It was like a child with a snot at one moment, and the next moment he bluntly abolished the beast's limbs, and then exploded the beast's head with a slingshot.

In a worldview with a combat power rating system, it is possible to promote the plot not simply with combat power . I think this is the embodiment of a writer who can write stories. Although the combat power level system in the hunter is not as obvious as the traditional passion such as Dragon Ball, it is still there, because there is an element of cultivation in his system. Kurapika was able to fight the Phantom Troupe across levels simply because he tried his best to practice skills that specifically countered the Phantom Troupe. In the next few articles, the combat power level system of the work is clearly shown, even if a genius character like Qiyi is good at calculating, he can't beat it when he encounters an opponent he can't beat. Hunters are not like the stand-in system in jojo. In jojo, the only ability is whether it can be used or not, (basically) there is no strong or weak point, but in the hunter, only characters with the same level of combat power are eligible for wits.

Therefore, in this world view with a clear combat power system, being able to tell stories that are not dependent on combat power and tell them well, I think this is one of Fu Jian's styles. I think Kurapika's performance in the Brigade chapter is the first time in Hunter that he really tells the audience that he is such a work.

Now that the battle series is mentioned, let's expand it a little bit. The combat system in the hunter, that is, the ability to read, can be said to be quite unique. On the one hand, as I said just now, he does rely on cultivation as the basis of his ability, and his ability to read minds needs to be improved with cultivation, just like the skills in traditional passion. But on the other hand, when the character's ability to practice reaches a certain level, he is qualified to use this ability to fight the enemy as he wants, that is, to the level of the ability to serve the story. So in general, the ability of the hunter should be to take the non-traditional way under the skin of the traditional combat system. However, this will often bring about a conflict of logic before and after, which is the so-called eating setting. Kurapika relied on the "Oath and Constraint" to let himself cross the level to repel the Phantom Brigade, and bear the price of his ability to be very weak in front of opponents outside the Phantom Brigade, as well as the risk of losing his life. The feeling of drinking poison to quench one's thirst makes the "Oath and Condition" system very interesting.

As a result, later stories tell us that there is actually a way to avoid the negative effects brought about by the system of "Oaths and Constraints", which is the setting of "Removing Teachers". Therefore, the original brigade chapter is the story of Kurapika's desperate attempt to abolish the brigade leader, which is thrilling and thrilling. As a result, the next few articles told us that Kurapika did not take such a big risk. In fact, the brigade leader took a little time to remove the seal imposed on him.

emmm.

(Kariya: So I've been patient, patient, patient, patient, patient...! Why did I get to where I am today, and who should be blamed for this mistake!)

(The taste of fine wine, I think...)

Of course, from the perspective of the work, if these two popular characters become semi-crippled after a fight, the story will not unfold well, but to be honest, it's a bit too casual. It's like at the beginning, two people played back and forth on the chessboard, fair, open and just, but in the end, halfway through the game, they found that they could actually lift the chessboard, they could use their fists to shake you, and they could use reasons such as I'm your second uncle to let you. admit defeat.

In fact, this is also the part that I always feel that Fu Jian in the hunter sometimes makes me unacceptable, that is, he is too arbitrary .

Not only in terms of setting, but many characters also feel this way. It took the boss time to describe and shape it, but he was suddenly killed with a snap. It feels like the story is just unfolding by chance. Although in most cases this kind of freewheeling brings one wonderful story after another that does not stick to the pattern, but sometimes it also makes the work appear chaotic and inexplicable. I think the story of the hunter is just like his style of painting. One word to describe it is miscellaneous . From the first to the latest Dark Continent, although it is a continuous story, each one is a completely independent story with a different style of painting. Although this is very interesting, it is what I have said many times. This is the characteristic of Fujian, but it is not an advantage.

The Phantom Troupe chapter is basically here, let’s talk about the next one.

In short, my special code is the ed that really likes the tour group.

About Greed Island

After the blockbuster Phantom Troupe, Greed Island seems to have returned to the traditional juvenile manga style: the protagonist has a short-term goal, and then there is a stage of a small boss. Defeat the stage mini-boss.

I think the greedy island chapter is the most in line with the theme of friendship, hard work, and victory among these parts of the hunter. The style of the plot is basically not dark. The one-strand boy who is a rival of writing and read as a friend and the genius boy are two basic friends who practice together. The overall plot is relaxed and moderate. It's quite a meal (the ants chapter after that is a meal in another sense).

However, I introduced the game system of Greed Island at the beginning... To be honest, Fu Jian, as always, has a lot of self-talking words + difficult to understand. The few episodes before the official start of the survival game were quite torturous. For me ( lie).

The killing volleyball game can be said to be the small climax of the greedy island chapter, (big pervert) Hisoka and Xiaojie joined forces to fight against the enemy for the first time, and Jin's old friend added a few more to the image of the hero who sees the dragon and sees nothing. The pen, and then once again described the character image of Xiaojie who is not like the protagonist of the young manga.

First of all, about Hisoka, he has attracted countless fans since he appeared on the stage, and he fights with everyone. , this time, he and Xiaojie are in the same camp temporarily. Although he is definitely a dangerous role in normal times, he is absolutely reliable when he is a teammate. I still like this kind of pseudo-teammate who joins the team temporarily. But to be honest... I feel that this person is only powerful because of his own aura and the likes of the big guys around him. The skills are still the same two tricks of chewing gum. Although he is really good at playing, emmm, he always feels that he is with the strong. The words still have little meaning.

Well, it's all good looking, nothing else matters ().

Then in the volleyball game, Xiaojie's subtle image was depicted positively again.

From the very beginning of watching Hunter, the protagonist gave me a different impression, with a sense of disobedience, as a young manga protagonist. It was just a vague impression at first, but the sense of inconsistency became more and more obvious as time went on. A tendon, occasionally carefree, although not amazing in appearance, but with unexpected tenacity and beast-like intuition, and then there is an ideal, a big boss Laodou. This type of teenage male protagonist can flow out a lot from my hometown when I turn on the faucet. But if you look closely, this protagonist is a little unusual from the beginning.

I remember that before Xiaojie's journey started, his adoptive mother's Aunt Mitt asked him, Jin abandoned you since you were a child, why do you still go to him? Do you have no complaints against him? If you abandon your own children, you have to pursue it, so the hunter must be such a job that is worth yearning for. Although it sounds like the rhetoric of a sparse and rich man, it always feels that it is not like what a child of this age should say, but more like an adult's thoughts. Of course, at first, I just thought that Xiaojie was such a generous character, so I didn't care much about this sense of disobedience. However, as the image of the character of Xiaojie was described more and more clearly, it seemed that the gap with the imagined juvenile manga protagonist was getting bigger and bigger.

If I had to rate Xiaojie, it would probably be " Cub ".

Impulsive, for the goal to move forward bravely, basically the protagonists in other juvenile comics are also like this, but in order to achieve the goal, for the goal, you can completely ignore any consequences, including your own and even the life of your companions, as if you have no emotions. Going towards the goal, I think this is a little different from the protagonists next door. It should be remembered that in the Phantom Troupe chapter, a character's evaluation of Xiaojie is "dangerous", which is purely dangerous. This kind of pure ignoring the price for the purpose should be the first positive description in the volleyball game.

In other juvenile manga, when faced with a challenge that may require the sacrifice of companions, the protagonist will often choose to put the life of his companions first, and even give up the challenge if necessary. In the volleyball game, Xiaojie also encountered this choice: if he uses a powerful skill later called "Kuanwaquan" to serve, it is possible to win the game, but this method of serving requires someone to use his hand as a serving bracket. For this person, it is necessary to endure the damage caused by the zero-distance punch. This person is Qiqi. In the previous round, everyone clearly recognized this problem. In order to prevent Xiaojie from wanting to hide his severely damaged hand in the shadows so that Xiaojie could not see it, Xiaojie of course already knew this. a little. So, whether to risk his partner's life for the possibility of winning the game, or to give up the game for the sake of his partner, this is the choice facing Xiaojie. In the end, he chose to believe in Qi and himself, no matter what happened, he would win the final game.

Of course, as the normal plot unfolded, they won.

In the final battle on Greed Island, Xiaojie did the same behavior of ignoring the consequences and heading straight for the goal. This time, he bet his own life, and of course he won in the end.

Realistically speaking, Xiaojie's behavior is understandable, and if he chooses to delay his troops in the situation he faces, there may not be any good results in the end. But from the author's placement of such a scene to describe the protagonist, it can be seen that what he wants to portray is such a pure and straightforward role to win. Although there may be some differences, there is a definition of this kind of character in jojo called "dark will", which is not a derogatory term or a neutral word. On the bright side, this kind of willingness to do whatever it takes is sometimes necessary to win, but if the starting point is malicious, this spirit can also become unscrupulous for the purpose.

Perhaps because he inherited the blood of an adventurer, Xiaojie is such a person who walks straight to his goal. However, because he was just entering the world, sometimes the starting point of this behavior regardless of the cost was a little childish. After all, Xiaojie was still a child, relying on his pure intuition to explore the way he wanted to go, and then straight to it. step forward. That's why I just called him a "cub".

But when this kind of pureness that prefers to bend and bend encounters a serious blow, it may cause the story to develop in an unpredictable direction.

Of course, this is another story.

The Greed Island chapter is here (lying).
