It seems that this kind of comedy does not need to be watched from beginning to end, just pick one or two, and you can laugh for a while.
I have always felt that British humor is not so funny, it always tastes like a bad joke. Mr. Bean's more exaggerated expressions and body language are not very cold. In particular, I found his eyes that were almost popping out to be terrifying.
But I watched this movie completely today (actually because my bf had watched "Iron Triangle" and didn't want to watch it again, so I had to choose this one), and I thought it was pretty good. At least it's rare to see bf laugh so crunchly.
I love this movie, not just because it's funny, it's just Mr Bean's usual trick. Compared with his nonsensical, exaggerated body language and expressions, I prefer his slightly neurotic little stubbornness, with the serious attitude of the British, but hiding a hot and pure heart under the old-fashioned surface.
I thought, if he hadn't been stubbornly chasing that ticket, I wouldn't have seen such a beautiful view of the French countryside. The splendid golden rape blossoms, the wind and the grass, and the quiet country roads are the stage for the lovely Mr. Bean alone. It seems that the rape blossoms in that place are all blooming for him. The sight was so beautiful.
As for the last episode of the great director Wong Kar Wai's movie, which was brought by the respectable Bean, the episode actually won applause from the audience, so I won't say much.
Mr. Bean, is such a cute little person, who lives optimistically in his own world, always self-defeating, and always able to save himself from danger. Stubborn to do what has been decided, Gu Dao warm-heartedly helps others, although often the more he helps, the more busy he is.
This little man has amused countless audiences all over the world for more than ten years. So it would be an understatement to call the actor playing Mr. Bean a master of modern comedy. He devoted almost all of his drama life to Mr. Bean and created a comedy character who has lived in the hearts of the audience for more than ten years. I think he should be awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.
