Frustrated with amnesia, Pete came to Lawson, a town that was devastated after the trauma of the war, and was mistaken for "Luke" who disappeared in the war. The whole town, especially Luke's father Harry, glowed from the haze With the new machine, the people in the town celebrated with laughter and forgot all the unhappiness of the past. This is the happiness we hope to bring to people. The moment Harry took off Luke's shoes, the joy in the old father's eyes could not help but bring tears to his eyes. This is the greatest strength of warmth.
In the days that followed, the town was full of laughter and laughter, except for Bob who couldn't get out of the shadows. All the people come alive, The Majestic Palace cinema reopened with the help of Luke, the old staff became happy, everything was going in the right direction, except Harry's sudden death made the film gloomy, I think Harry must have suffered from an illness caused by missing his son too much for nine and a half years, but fortunately, until his death he was sure that his son was back, and I think he would be happy even if he left.
I don't really understand the plot of the whole movie after Pete regained his memory, but I only understand that he refused to join forces with those politicians for the sake of freedom and hope in court. If he did, the people in the town also accepted him again, and he and Adele finally got together and had a happy ending. While Luke is gone, Pete returns with new hope and joy.
Good.
