Today, when computer animation is increasingly occupying the mainstream animation film market, the existence of stop-motion animation films that traditionally cost a lot of hand-made production is even more precious. As one of the largest stop-motion animation studios in the current animation film market, Aardman Studios has been committed to the production and promotion of stop-motion animation. "Shaun the Sheep" is their signature short-form series, only a few minutes each, and revolves around the story of Shaun the Sheep and his pals playing pranks on each other on the Moss Farm. This series has so far released four seasons with a total of more than 130 episodes (including the last movie, I haven't watched a single episode). The entire film is a dialogue-free animation, without a single line, and all stories and emotions are conveyed by the performance of animated characters. The last time I watched a non-dialogue drama was the first episode of the classic "Nightmare Factory" (also known as "Nightmare Illusion Records") "Soldier's Battlefield", which is the best "pantomime" I've ever seen, so "Little Sheep". Sean" is hard to beat the No.1 position in my heart for a movie without dialogue. And: "Movies are more and more like commercials, and commercials are more and more like movies". The commercials are getting better and better because of the simplification! As with short films, the shorter the time, the better it can be. Therefore, it is not difficult to understand that after "Shaun the Sheep" changed from a classic short film to a cinematic feature film, it really owes a lot of heat. Personal perception is only a little tasteful in the first 30 minutes, and it gets boring as it goes on. The director didn't grasp the context of the film, and in the end it was actually out of control. Even with the mix of ET, Wall-E, 2001: A Space Odyssey, etc., it's still pretty mediocre.
