Film Review Chapter 541 "The New Grudge" - The Grudge Rekindled
The film "The New Grudge" premiered in the United States on January 3.
The film is a reboot of the American version of The Grudge.
Since the first "The Grudge" premiered in Japan in 1999, "The Grudge" has been released in four Japanese films and three in the United States (2004, 2006, 2009).
Among them, the first episode of the US version is a remake of the first episode of the Japanese version of "The Grudge", while the second and third episodes of the US version are newly created stories.
Ten years later, "The Grudge" is rebooted again, and this episode revolves around the three mass murders that took place in 2004, 2005 and 2006 at the haunted house at 44 Reyburn Drive, a small town in Pennsylvania, USA.
Audiences who have experienced the baptism of Wen Ziren's Conjuring Universe will naturally feel that the horror of this episode is average.
But being a big fan of the Grudge series is sure to rekindle ("Reyburn") passion for the series.
Recommended for fans of the Grudge series.
I wish you a nice weekend.
