really not much

Agree with ORANGE. This film doesn't deserve that much praise.
ANNABELLE's performance is pretentious, her smoking, speech, way of speaking, playing the guitar at the dance, and gestures are very cool to many people, but they are actually clichés that are rampant in American films.
SIMONE's behavior is particularly disgusting to me. She is actually bisexual and loves both women and men. She loves ANNABELLE and AMANDA, that's for sure, but what kind of emotion she has towards MICHAEL, I really can't fathom, does she have true love for him? I don't think so, then why is she still having sex with him. The film is vague in the expression of this plot, and it is a failure. The irony is that SIMONE is a devout Catholic who has believed in for a decade or two. To outsiders, she believes in God. You must know that Catholicism absolutely prohibits homosexuality. In this way, she is looking for MICHAEL to cover up.
So, what is the theme of this film? Anti-religion and advocate the true desires of the human heart? If so, then the director has done a terrible job.

Loving Annabelle quotes

  • Simone: [talking about getting rid of Annabelle's beads] Maybe you could carry them in your pocket or hide them in your bag where no one could see them.

    Annabelle: I'll think about it.

Simone: Why are you making this so hard?

Annabelle: The first person I fell in love with gave them to me.

Simone: You still in love with him?

Annabelle: *She* moved to Europe last year with her family.

Simone: [Simone touches Annabelle's arm] Think about it.

  • Cat Pegrum: So how's it going with Miss Bradley?

Annabelle: Nothing's *going* with Miss Bradley.

Cat Pegrum: I had a crush on her when I was a freshman. I'm not gay though, I'm into guys too. Michelle Peters was obsessed with her, she used to write her notes and shit in class.

Annabelle: I'm not obsessed with her.

Cat Pegrum: But you like her though.
