First, the idea of female intelligence officers revealing official secrets to anti-war figures is to prevent their country and people from being involved in the war. This is patriotism. Patriotism is not only loyal to the official institutions that they serve, but also loyal to their ancestors. The old folks who were born and grew up in this land, who put her on the dock of treason, must prove how she treasoned the country. This is the case with the heroine, and so is Snowden. Second, it is a realm to go from having no family and country feelings to being loyal to the motherland, and from loving one's own motherland to loving all innocent people, this is another realm. Maybe this is a universal value that we are not very familiar with. . I like the line at the end: "Do me a favor, Ken, go fishing elsewhere".
