It can be said that "Detective Pikachu" is completely written by a parallel script writer. These parallel-imported screenwriters can only make routines. I don't know if they are students of major classes or whether they learned from "Story".
Let's take a look at the obvious routines of Detective Pikachu, and their shortcomings:
The first is about leaving suspense.
No matter whether it is ingenious or ingenious, this film will be kept for a while. At the beginning of the film, Chaomeng escaped from the laboratory and the car was blown off the bridge. This is the reserved suspense. This suspense was tasteless, unremarkable, and did not create any atmosphere at all.
The sky is not so dark in the first shot of the film,
But the car was blown up a minute later, but it was completely dark.
In terms of camera skills, the scenes from this scene should at least be uniform. In addition, the narrative is too monotonous. Of course, if you add more content, you will have to take a lot of shots, and you will need to spend more money. Maybe the budget of the film is limited.
The second is about creating conflicts.
The protagonist Tim has no obvious conflicts, and the villain Howard has them, but it's a bit simple. The main character contradiction lies in Pikachu. For example, its voice is entirely the voice of an adult man, and so is his behavior. He lost his memory and couldn't perform Pikachu's stunts. The settings of these points gave me a guess, but because I watched a lot of routines, I guessed all of them after two-thirds of the film was played.
This can only show that the production of commercial films is really done step by step, and the degree of completion is not high.
The third is the reversal of the characters.
There are actually two obvious character reversals in the film. The first one is more obvious, and that is Howard. He is a hero of the city. The first half of the film paved the way for his glorious deeds and introduced his own contradictions. His later blackening was based on his contradictory part.
The second one is actually Tim. It's a pity that Tim's part is too weak, almost no one can tell. Tim’s character should have been disgusted with his father. After a series of story development, his disgust turned into love. However, the initial disgust was not strong, and the final affection naturally did not have any waves.
The fourth is about the process of reasoning.
The important thing in the process of reasoning is that the cards cannot be illuminated at one time. The initial suspense was repeated four times throughout the film. Every time, add a little bit to the details, or subtract a little bit. Although the purpose is to make every time it doesn't look like the truth of the story, but because I didn't make a serious story when setting up the suspense in the early stage, every subsequent rebuttal was not so shocking.
The fifth is about shaping the character.
The worst aspect of the film is the complete failure of character creation. Maybe the protagonist should be Pikachu, or maybe Tim. I didn't figure it out in the end. Pikachu's character is superficial, Tim is just walking through the scene. Not to mention other characters such as Lucy and Howard.
In fact, if the character's character is well formed, the film can be played for 60 minutes. Think about those excellent movies, the ones with distinctive characters still account for the majority.
The above is a summary of the film. It is very simple to make a popcorn movie. If you learn these routines, you will surely be able to make a work of the same level as the film. Of course, if you don't learn these routines, you might be able to shoot bright works, but the premise is to take them seriously.
