Passed through a different life course

The film "Rust and Bone" (2012), directed by Jacques Audiard, although full of chaos, abnormality and uncontrollability, caused quite a stir when it was released in Europe and the United States, even at the Cannes Film Festival. Critics have pointed out that "Rust and Bone" surpasses Haneke's award-winning "Love". There is never a single criterion for judging a good movie. It is a blessing for everyone to share more good films, and there is no need to be demanding.

Maria Cotillard, who played the film's heroine Stephanie, had a very different experience from La Vie Rose, which won her an Oscar for best actress. In 2007, she played Edith Piaf, known as the "Little French Skylark", which explored the protagonist's life as colorful as roses and withered and silent like fallen leaves. Among them, the age span challenged the limit of her performance, and also allowed her to go through a different and gorgeous life course.

Unexpectedly, her performance in "Rust and Bone" is not inferior to her "Life of Roses", and it can even be said to be better. Intercepting a certain chapter of life and letting it refine, sublime and glow is easier said than done, just as incredible as intercepting her beautiful legs.

Life is destined to be chemical and uncontrollable. As a beautiful female whale trainer Stephanie, who is like a duck to water, she shows her whale training tour as usual. Unexpectedly, the obedient killer whale who has kissed her countless times rushed over this time. On the stage, she lost her legs forever. After the amputation, how will she spend this long and painful recovery period...

There is no doubt that the whole article does contain inspirational elements. Obviously, the creator does not want to simplify the classification. Moreover, European and American films, especially French films, never play cards according to common sense. It would be too stupid or simplistic to say inspirational.

In fact, the first thing to be said or the whole story should be the actor Ali, played by Matthias Schoenaerts, and the drama is quite brilliant. This Ali is not the other Ali. They have one thing in common. They are both boxers. The real Ali has become an eternal legend. It's just that this Ali can no longer play professional events due to an arm injury, and has no livelihood. He has to take his 5-year-old son Sam to live at his sister's house after wandering for a while.

This is destined to be painful for a big man with strength and nowhere to use. He had to go to the bar for a drink, and saw a hooligan bullying a girl who had fallen to the ground, he went up to rescue. So they met, and she was Stephanie. At that time, she was healthy and pleasant and had a boyfriend.

After sending her home safely, the two never contacted again. It didn't take long before she encountered the darkest catastrophe in her life, and her boyfriend left her. Facing the life after the amputation, she didn't even have the courage to live. She had to hide behind the hospital curtain all day in painful self-pity. At this time, she thought of Ali, who had only one side, this is a woman's intuition.

Ali is here. This life-saving straw is precious to her. Ali said to the unconfident Stephanie: "It will get better in the future." She replied lightly: "You are so optimistic." He said in a low voice: "This is life." The subtext seemed to say: "Let us Get up and face it." Only when people are most painful can they meet someone who is truly reliable and reliable.

But life is not so smooth, and what Ali faces is survival. He also has a lovely child. And what Stephanie has to face is how to enter the street again and live a strong life as usual after wearing the prosthesis. Ali, who never leaves, carries out a series of rehabilitation exercises on her back when she has time. Slowly, her mind and body are recovering.

Soothing can generate the most powerful emotional motivation, and naturally they fell in love with each other, and their love was extremely fiery. At this time, Ali found a job of "black boxing". With the quality of his professional boxer, he repeatedly knocked down his opponents, which helped him temporarily relieve the pressure of his livelihood. Just when he thought everything was going well, because he unintentionally did a bad thing with a bad friend, his sister who worked in the mall lost her job.

This made him extremely painful. He had to leave his sister's house with the child and went to a training camp in the suburbs. He had to live by "black boxing". Misfortunes never come singly. The lovely son accidentally fell into the ice hole. The son drifted under the ice. The son was dying, but luckily he was rushed to the hospital.

Ali can't lose his son anymore. He wants to let his son live a good life. He has to fight with his fists that are ripped apart. Just when he was knocked down by his opponent and fainted, he saw Stephanie get out of the car with a cane. Walk towards him slowly. He couldn't let her down, he struggled as hard as he could to save his son, using all his strength to defeat his opponent. Later, she went to the hospital with her to pick up her son for discharge. All the swelling of life at this moment was finally released and dissolved safely.

Matthias Schoenaerts and Marion Cotillard co-star, can be said to complement each other and the two walls are destined to make this film an extraordinary masterpiece. It's reminiscent of "Raging Bull," starring Robert De Niro, where a boxer can only prove his worth in the ring. But Ali not only used his fists, but more importantly, won the love and appreciation of the audience with his heart.

And Stephanie's life will continue to be honed by rust and bone. This is a life that cannot be chosen. Although the future is unclear, from the moment she uncovers the dark side, the positive energy of courage and love is enough to sweep away There is no doubt about removing the haze from her life and unloading all burdens.

Expectations are too high. The story is very bland, and the content is just that little bit, which is too exaggerated by the director and seems lengthy. The main line of the male protagonist feels that it is irrelevant to Marion's story after starting, and then the main line starts again while talking about it, and Marion's story line stops again.
