It's actually a riot

The film is adapted from the shooting of three black men by police in a hotel in the Detroit riot in 1967. Since there is no record, it is based on the memoirs, and the narration of the people present has been artistically processed. The Detroit riots started when the police raided a black-run nightclub, took everyone for questioning, and the black onlookers threw bottles at the police, inciting riots, and after the police evacuated, they started smashing stores, looting, and setting fires. In my opinion, this is either an uprising caused by racial oppression, or a riot, lest the world be in chaos. Detroit began a curfew, in addition to the local police, the National Guard, and the state police all stationed to maintain order, mainly to protect firefighters from being attacked by rioters. And some black thugs began to shoot the police with cold guns, which led to the incident in the small hotel. A black man shot a police officer on the street with a starting gun, the police rushed into the hotel, he was killed by the first one, the police began to force a confession about who fired (they didn't know it was the starting gun), and no one said anything, Not cooperating. So the police played a death game to deceive confessions, pretending to take away one person to shoot, telling him to shut up and pretend to be dead to scare others. Operation, really shot one, this is the second black man to die. Detroit police even stripped off the clothes of two white women in the hotel for insults because they were with black people. With the development of the situation, the police couldn't hold it anymore, so they let the others leave, on the condition that if nothing happened tonight, everyone ran away to save their lives. One of them refused to let go, so he was shot and killed on the spot. The third black man to die. After the trial, the three policemen were not guilty, and the whole country was in an uproar.

3.5, there are some problems with the script, and the execution is still lacking

I went to the cinema with the unknown to watch ‹DETROIT>, and left the cinema in horror. The past is so alive and life is so fragile. And this shocking past is playing out now. We can't speak, we don't know what to do. Maybe not the best movie of a step, but when history is about to happen again
