bland story

This is a particularly bland story! It's like the stories happening around, a little funny, and more cruel in life.

The male protagonist does not have a job. In order to get a new job, he spends all his family savings to buy a bicycle. But it was stolen, and they searched hard with their son, and went through a lot of twists and turns. In the end it was not found. The wickedness in his heart came out, and he was walking along other people's bicycles, but was caught on the spot. Fortunately, his son's pleas allowed everyone to let him go.

The story ends, but life goes on. Going forward, I don’t know if it will be so difficult tomorrow, or there will be a new turning point.

But the male protagonist is still lucky and has a happy family. His son stayed by his side as he searched for the bike. Make this story a little more heartwarming.

Our life is also like this, there is unhappiness, suffering, and some warmth. Have a good day every day!

Bicycle Thieves quotes

  • La Santona: [Addressing a young man seated before her, apparently seeking advice on his love life] You must plant your seeds in another field. Do you understand what I mean?

Young man seeking advice: No, I don't understand.

La Santona: It's simple, my boy. What good is planting seeds if the soil rejects them? You plant, but don't gather. Understand?

Young man seeking advice: I haven't understood a word.

La Santona: [Becoming impatient] She doesn't love you! Forget her!

La Santona: [Pausing for effect] Dear boy, you're very ugly. Yes, ugly. There are so many other women... Go and plow another field!

  • Employment Officer: Hey, Ricci, remember your bike! You have to have a bike.

Antonio Ricci: A bike? I have and I haven't. I can't get my hands on it right now. Perhaps in a few days time.

Employment Officer: You need one straight away or they won't take you on.

Antonio Ricci: I can do it on foot for the first few days.

Employment Officer: If you haven't got a bike, you'll have to let someone else take it.
