A typical Billy Wilder noir film, my favorite Barbara Stanwick film, the heroine she plays is a meticulous and spicy femme fatale. The story may seem a bit old-fashioned now, but the old-fashioned story is fascinating and exciting!
The structure is compact and interlocking, and the layout and breakout complement each other. It's rare to use a monologue to express the character's psychology without making me feel impatient. In order to pursue a dramatic transition effect, the choice of roles and the progress of the event are quite inconsistent. I didn't mind this kind of reasonable compromise at first. If the pleasant experience brought by the proper arrangement is enough, I am willing to take the initiative to ignore it. But this one is just a bit short.
