Episode 4!

Gotta like the fourth episode! After reading it, I reflected on my life for a long time, and I wonder what Freud would think when he saw it.

I think this episode is actually a reflection on Dionysian culture and American hippie culture.

The relationship between souls is, in fact, sexual in nature. Not even a horny teenager like Morty can stand it: I am kind of grossed with the sexual nature of everything unfolded.

Lazy sex on the pretext of sexual freedom has become a popular sexual culture, which is actually corroding people's souls. Because people don't think about why, don't think about what should be done, as the cat asks, don't ask why, have some fun. But people should not stop at the carnival of the flesh. Behind such extreme pleasure is a deep emptiness, a sense of boredom and loss of control over life's inability to do anything.

It's not just sex, it's people's depraved instincts, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and all kinds of addictions that affect sober life.

But I have to admit that life is boring and inexplicable. Life sucks, if this episode repeatedly emphasized how to live a sunny and active life, it would be too unricky.

But here is precisely the question of degree. We can indulge, but we can't indulge to the extent that it goes against ethics, until it destroys our own humanity and becomes an existence with only animal desires. (A talking cat, a cat that becomes a man, a man that becomes an animal?)

Falling down, going down again, "Ludan's Demon" is about such a real human nature, there is no limit, no bottom line, it is the dance of the devil, which happened in the palace where the legendary Shengming lived. The irony is not only the high-sounding human nature, but also the self-righteous optimism and peace of mind of human nature.

Rick Sanchez: We are Rick & Morty.

  • [Morty is driving Rick's spaceship, rather recklessly, so that he can follow a destiny to die in Jessica's arms]

Rick Sanchez: Morty, you know outer space is up, right?

Morty Smith: Yeah, yeah. I'm just, uh, following... my... instincts.

Rick Sanchez: Will you just go up?

    [grabs at controls]

Morty Smith: Stop! You're gonna make me die wrong!

Rick Sanchez: Wait a minute, what? Morty, do you have a death crystal in your pocket?

    Morty Smith: No... Maybe.

Rick Sanchez: You little monster! I thought you were masturbating!

Morty Smith: And you took that in stride?

Rick Sanchez: You rather I address it?
