Movies I watched 20 years ago! It feels like Tom's most attentive film! When I was just fascinated by their "Top Gun", I was amazed to see his self-destructive image in this film, and at the same time I admired his courage to devote himself to art! Of course, he also won the 47th Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series for this film. What impressed me most was the anti-war sentiment and sad atmosphere expressed in the film. The brutal war's twist on human nature is shocking! A good film should be thought-provoking!

    How can a young man become an angry young man in hindsight. The selection of typical events (civilians, manslaughter, disability) seems too deliberate. The protagonist's sluggish loser appearance makes people very impatient. The sense of logic/design is too strong (as is "Field Platoon"), and the depth of persuasion and human nature excavation is far less than the deer hunting and apocalypse that create a crazy atmosphere. Motion and scheduling are still one of the best parts.
