Aftermath of "Cold War"

Are mortals worthy of love? I don't know I can't understand it so I don't dare to speculate. Most of us are not believers. But in front of the God of Love, we are unprecedentedly high, piety, humble, and fanatical... We spend our whole lives looking for love and pursuing love. Then, fortunately or unfortunately, we get love. In addition to love, some people escape, some people wait and see. In love, some people fall, and some people become numb. Love is too illusory, too abstract, too dramatic. Ordinary people cannot control it, nor can they understand its true meaning. Naturally, it cannot blend with it just as well as imagined - so that in the eyes of others, it seems that people are born to love people. Like that. Great and beautiful love seems to really exist only in drama. But the irony is that often the most vigorous life in dramas is the tragedy that teaches the parties and bystanders to be heartbroken... I'm afraid, these repeated, painful and tortured, like an endless hell... I like this story. It's better to say that I like it than to be jealous. They could have escaped, and they had faced choices that were good for each other. But just like all mortals, they are in love, passionately in love, crazy for each other, and they have never stopped being crazy. They have loved, hated, and tortured each other fiercely in this life, and they are unwilling to let go until they die... No I remember where I started crying, and I don't know why I cried, but my heart felt like being hit by a blunt object, and it was aching. On the one hand, I am glad that I have never had such a crazy love-hate experience; Constantly thinking, most of us suck, is that worthy of love? Reading other people's stories, for me, also requires courage. ——Watch "Cold War"

In a few years, the director will probably be classified as a master of the postcard film generation.

When directors in post-socialist countries deal with the relationship between individuals and the times, they can’t always find the right place to start. Either it is a simple correspondence, or it is a conceptual comparison. The worst is a national fable. The fault of this film is that it is in the form of superficial images (the framing of many scenes is close to static photography, which is not an advantage). It attempts to rely on images and the so-called power of the times to enhance the emotional tension and weight, but what I actually feel is a An unremarkable story of gathering, separation and reunion. 2.5
