Man on the Moon

It is a serious and absurd, sad but not sad biographical film.

It is also a movie that is difficult to give a quick evaluation after watching it, and even the score is difficult to give.

I consider myself a movie with a relatively high threshold. I explored a little the origin of comedy (not a tragedy, but a kind of nonsense, disorder, and unconventional), and more explored the origin of being a comedian (the comedian himself is a tragedy).

The shortcomings of the film are still relatively obvious. Even if the biography of the characters has a visual sense, the distribution of some of the plots is still unreasonable. For example, the reason for the protagonist's popularity is inexplicable; another fictional character he made is very puzzling to be loved by the public at once; there are also some protagonists' whimsical ideas about comedy, but I don't understand the rationality of their popularity. .

I found a reason for the director, maybe this is what this film wants to express, the weird behavior that the audience can't understand, the more popular it is in the film, the more it satirizes stupid and ridiculous people.

The advantages of the film are also very significant, that is, "Jim Carrey". Whether it is the autism at the beginning, the nervousness of the first stage, the weird, absurd, and crazy performances, the obsession when thinking of ideas, he can grasp every inch of the difference very clearly. The final tragic scene also came naturally, and the audience immediately felt empathy.

Seeing that he is making bad films one after another, I don't know when he will be able to win the best actor.

As a whole, as long as you keep watching this movie, you can endure its absurd and disordered character motives, character relationships, and American-style laughs. I feel that "comedy is tragedy" is a well-known setting (at least in Hollywood, comedy can still be born, gathered and developed because of another factor)
