A brief summary of the first season

When the series first came out, I watched it for a while, but because 8 points seemed very mediocre, it gradually faded out of sight. However, in the last month of the 1910s, it ascended to the top spot of the best American dramas of the decade, and immediately added it to the viewing sequence after being surprised.

At present, the look and feel is excellent. The layout of the first season is still limited to small towns. Except for the two extended independent lines, most of the conflicts are set up in small towns, focusing on those who have been abandoned. Such a perspective is in The setting is a maverick existence.

Equally unique, there is also the protagonist's family that survived "all" in the departure event, but suffered the most complete fragmentation without experiencing it. It cannot be pinned on the "what if" of other families, their fragmentation is destined, from Disagreement that was buried long before the department. In order to tell such a brokenness, it depicts the PTSD of the entire community after the disaster, irreparable and trying to forget the constant conflict in the narrative.

Kelvin seems to have been in a state of chaos. Whether it was before the incident, or three years after that, facing his wife's conflict, he took pain from it, but never tried to fix it. This tears. But where the rift is, the first season does not seem to indicate.

2% of people disappear, like a 9/11 or Malaysia Airlines incident that spread all over the world. People are shocked and their spirits are marked with horror. But after trauma and shock, partial forgetting is the mainstream of everyone moving on. . Totally immersed in it, exhausting the energy to appreciate the pain of loss, it is difficult for people to understand. After three years of silence, when everyone tried to continue living, there was a group of people who used extreme methods to coerce everyone to remember the people who left, forcing them to taste the pain and fall into despair that they could have left. The crux of the first season is here, why forgetting is the original sin, and indulging in pain is noble, when the people in white want to keep their actions legitimate, how to explain the rationality of their ideas, is my first season. not yet seen or understood.

Getting some comfort from taking pain is as addictive as a drug, because it can make many of your own problems go down the drain to the badness of the world. It will be very comfortable to indulge in it, because you don't have to worry about the future you don't believe in, and you don't have to seek changes because of deficiencies. But it's always downward, and the fall is accelerating, and we've become worse than ever when we realize we've fallen into the abyss for so long.
