At first, I watched it for Blake. I thought it was a traditional monster disaster movie like Jaws and Python, but it looked pretty good. The heroine Nancy came to a beach with special meaning to her mother in memory of her mother who died early, but was accidentally attacked by a shark and was trapped on a reef out of the sea.
The most prominent part of this film is not the deadly shark, but the self-rescue of people in extreme situations. The scary point is not only the deadly shark, but also the wound on the thigh, the reef that will be submerged at any time, the poisonous coral reef, the large area. Deep-sea footage, the situation of isolation and helplessness simply makes deep-sea phobias collapse. The seemingly lifeless situation, the heroine's desire to survive is solved step by step. The wound on the thigh, the heroine who is a medical student, sewn it up with a necklace herself. This part of the movie in the movie was painful to watch as an audience. I admired the heroine's courage and calmness.
