Suddenly I wanted to write some movie reviews about fairy tale adaptations. I just watched "The Nutcracker and the Four Realms" recently. Then it should be it. The performance of this film in the same type of film is ordinary and unremarkable, and there is nothing particularly attractive to watch. It is ordinary but it will not fall into the list of bad movies. The main group of the film is children, and too much adult elements are injected into it, which can easily overwhelm the children's innocence and happiness in their essence.
Without further ado, let's review the movie now. The extreme simplicity of the plot design allows the closely connected main lines and straight lines to run harmoniously in parallel. The plot twists are as expected, and there are not many bright spots to surprise the audience. The original intention of the queen's allegiance has not been concealed by the gloomy atmosphere. From the beginning of the film, the whole film is surrounded by an oncoming melancholy atmosphere, and this atmosphere continues afterward, mixed with a clear lightness. However, the lack of bright spots in the plot design is the most fatal part of this film from beginning to end, and a film with no novelty is naturally not optimistic.
The biggest highlight of this film is the costume design and set design. With these elements, everything else seems to be ignored. Looking at the whole film, only the costume design has put a lot of hard work and injected a lot of background into the play. The costumes in the style of Emperor Dante, all the way to the costumes in the modern style, the diverse costumes invisibly show the development history of each period in which the form is chaotic.
