I prefer such a succinct title, and the two short words give people a deep meaning that is unattainable. Besides, there is also my favorite Depp in the film. The story must be as dark and horrible as "The Ninth Gate", full of religious mystery; or as strange and magical as "The Headless Horseman", like a dream-like mythical journey. But after watching it, I couldn't help being disappointed. After all, the little-known director of the film has not yet reached the skills of the first two masters. The depth of digging is not comparable to Polanski, only a slight mention of the dark and perverted murderous psychology of Freemasonry; the atmosphere is not comparable to Tim Burton, the whole film is just to see the vulgarity and filth on the streets of London and the glaring scene of the crime. Blood. After the test of suspense for a long time, I guessed from the beginning the true face of the murderer hidden behind peace and serenity. After uncovering the truth, there was no sudden joy of relief, so the suspense setting of this film basically failed. The actor only acts as a clue-type character in the process of solving puzzles, lacking the quirky personality of the past, and just sucking opium slumpingly from beginning to end to obtain that mysterious telepathy. Of course, the most unsuccessful love was that simple love, just a few hurried electric shocks seemed dispensable, of course, in the end Depp decided not to go to the heroine to avoid the clichés, but his death was still far-fetched and sudden. Being born apart like a cow and a weaver girl can bring beauty. The only thing that can make people think about is the murderer's motive, which involves political darkness and religious prejudice. In fact, the confrontation between the victim and the inspector was not just a royal doctor, but the entire upper echelon of Britain, which was a complicated and paranoid way of thinking. Faced with such a powerful collective behavior, only Taohuayuan is their only stable destination.
