Because it is seen from 1 to 3 one after another. After several battles for the throne in 1 and 2, Simba's family saved their throne time and time again. It was thought that in the third part, the third generation of the Lion King, with Simba's daughter and son-in-law as the main force, would also serve his family again.
I didn't expect it!
After watching the third part, the first feeling is that the story conception team of The Lion King is exhausted! Ding Man and Pengpeng kept playing some episodes of the first two episodes, although they added new episodes of how they were expelled from the group and how they met. But being used to the plots of the first two films, one cannot help but want to see how the third generation of the lion family rules the animal world.
The gap is quite big from what I imagined, so I don't like it!
