The entire film is not long, only more than 80 minutes after deducting the closing subtitles, which is in stark contrast to the current blockbuster that takes nearly two hours at every turn.
I was just a little disappointed after watching it. I felt that the plot was too simple, and it was too old-fashioned to have any color. What's more important is that the jokes in "Taxi 4" are much less than in the previous work. There is also the first supporting role in there, Taxi (the new Peugeot 407), which did not have a big performance, and did not appear in many scenes...
So I miss its predecessor "Taxi 2", which is a classic among classics! Although it also has a simple storyline, the little clips that are strung together will make you laugh. ——French comedy is like this, without the detailed fragments of the rhythm of four-frame comics, there is nothing to watch at all. It's a pity that this "Taxi 4" really doesn't have these details, it's a great failure!
Until now, I think of the scene in "Taxi 2" in which the policeman Elimie took the driver's license; and the taxi driver Danielle drove into the police station, greeted the other's mother at the police, and drove away. The fellow in the car asked timidly: "Do you think it's too much for the police to say that?" "Oh, no, no, they love listening to this!" The plot still felt interesting.
But after watching this part 4, there is nothing left in my memory, which is a big disappointment! Alas, seriously, it's not easy to add a sequel to a classic!
The only appearance in this film is only one woman (in fact, there is another one, which only appeared for a few seconds, said a few words...), I really don't understand how much the cost of this "TAXI 4" is?
