film poetry

Movie poetry, not poetry.
Knife in the water is movie poetry, Knife in the water is not poetry.
I said, the knife in the water is not poetry. Because there is no lyricism in the water knife, no scene description, no scene blending.
But it is film poetry. Because the way it is told is cinematic, but what it wants to express is poetic.
That sailboat, that lake, that knife; that middle-class man, that middle-class woman, that juvenile young man, is all poetry. It is a poem of vision, a poem of sound, a poem of emotion, and a poem of human nature in emotion.
Why is that middle-class man looking for the ballast of young people? Where did that middle-class woman's overreaching mentality come from? Is that young man pure or cruel? Each of these three people is intriguing. At the same time, the relationship between every two of these three people is also intriguing. It is even more intriguing that the three of them live together on the same boat.
However, intriguing does not equal complexity. This is another simple story. Just a story of "three people spend a day on a lake in a boat". Simple is complex. The complexity in simplicity is the most intriguing. Complexity is contained in simplicity, and it becomes poetry.
We can interpret it however we want.
can be interpreted as society.
Can be interpreted as desire.
It can be explained as class contradiction.
Can be interpreted as legal and emotional.
Can be interpreted as married life.
Can explain adults and nature.
Can explain adult growth.
Can be interpreted as...a
water knife. Reminds me of carving a boat for a sword.
Therefore, it can also be interpreted as the philosophical and humanistic concepts of the East and the West.

[Cinema Replay] Polanski is shocked to be the first work of the heavens. ① The control and wrestling of the needles in Mianli deeply dissected the vanity and hypocrisy of the middle class and the perplexity and ignorance of young people. ②Subtle connotation, calm and restrained, full of tension, a lot of long shots and subjective camera positions. ③A scene of Aiji floating on the water, moving the stick & knife into the game, boxing radio with belt and high heels. ④The superimposed shadows of the windows and trees begin, and the distant view of the fork ends. ⑤ Subjective lens with binocular parallax +1. (9.0/10)

Seeing a lot of people say it is worth thinking about, I really don't see anything worth thinking about in this piece.

Knife in the Water quotes

  • Krystyna: So, you do know how to swim.

  • Andrzej: You don't whistle on board.

    Young Boy: Why not?

Andrzej: It's not done. Sailors get mast-headed for that... Not hikers, though.
