I watched this film entirely for Hepburn.
Just seeing Hepburn singing, dancing and changing N clothes in it, I thought it was worth watching. I remember Hepburn studied ballet since she was a child, but I didn't expect that she would also be at the table in the cafe Dancing on the modern dance, the body is slender, soft, flexible, and pleasing to the eye.
But, to be honest, I don't like the role Hepburn played in it, Cinderella in the bookstore, the photographer's DEEP model, the new face of the magazine, the pious Empathy follower. Because how can she be so obsessed with fred? Thinking he cares about her intelligence, he's just a brainless little red riding hood. Also, since you promised to come to Paris, you should have a little work ethic, why for idols What about messing up the press conference? Although it's not just her fault.

To put it simply, she seems to be very cultural and in-depth, but not intellectual enough and a little nerdy. Maybe this could have been called simple, but she It's cute because of it, but it always brings some trouble to reality. But she's so beautiful, no one wants to blame her, except me :)

Well, it's basically an old story. But, fortunately This kind of story will definitely have a happy ending.

By the way, at the beginning of the film, the editor-in-chief pushes the door, and I think of The devil wears prada.

Audrey Hepburn is still so beautiful, but I always feel that her temperament is not suitable for this kind of Broadway movie...Fred Astaire is old! Still like him when he was young!

Funny Face quotes

  • Maggie Prescott: Lettie, take an editorial! "To the women of America...!" No, make it to the women everywhere. "Banish the black, burn the blue, and bury the beige. From now on, girls, think pink!"

  • Jo Stockton: What about these pictures?

Dick Avery: Well, we're using this shop as a background for some fashion pictures for Quality Magazine.

Jo Stockton: I'm sorry, but I can't let you do this. Dr. Post would never approve. She doesn't approve of fashion magazines. It's chichi and an unrealistic approach to self-impressions as well as economics.
