It should be said that yesterday, from yesterday to today, I watched this film on c6. Originally, it was completely aimed at ROMAIN, but in this film, in order to portray the characters, he seems to be a little ugly, but it is also in line with the film. In fact, I just like those characters who are both good and evil, rather than those who are completely heroic, because I think only these people are real people and people who really have stories. This movie is the same story.
The protagonist is such a character that is both good and evil, and therefore falls into contradictions and struggles.
The rhythm of my heart forgetting, the name beautifully expresses such a state of anxiety.
Father: Living without music, continue to use various means to obtain commercial benefits, use those hands to drive away troubles (tenants, immigrants...) in front of you, and give up music.
Mother: I am immersed in classical music and become a pianist.
Myself: Actually, as a child of parents, he just took part of it very well in the end. There is nothing good or bad about this choice, it's just your choice. He chose music, but it was electronic music. After he failed to play Bach, he still chose electronic music like his own personality when he took to the streets. He chose business, and he ended up being a manager, but for classical pianists.
Indeed he is such a contradictory set. The beginning of the film expresses his attitude towards his father. He is irritable and rough like a father, but he exudes a motherly love for his father as he loves his own children. I even wondered if he himself did not recognize his role clearly. When his father was about to get married again, he told his father that the man was a prostitute, and he came forward again and again to settle troubles for his father. His rudeness doesn't seem to be too much, he is just the person who persuades the fight in the bar, ignores all the people around him who are immersed in the music, and the person who keeps tapping on the bar with his fingers. At the same time his own life is chaotic, and I mean his private life - with his partner - the wife of the man who Thomas repeatedly lied to for his swindle - and even with his fiancee who killed his father's enemy. And these, I think, are prepared for the real heroine of the film - Miao Ling.
The image of mother in the film has not appeared fully, and Miao Ling is a continuation of this image. The first is her identity, and she can be regarded as a pianist, at least 2 years later. Same with Thomas' mother. In the same way, as his piano teacher, although she talks like ducks, she shows majesty and educates him. That's why the relationship between them is such a relationship. And in the end he became her agent, is it also a manifestation of his own view of his father's prejudice against his mother?
Regarding the end, the director later arranged for the enemy to meet. In fact, if Thomas is really satisfied with his current life, then the Russians can be regarded as his benefactors. In the end, he didn't choose to pull the trigger with the hand that tried the piano on the stage yesterday, but he did choose revenge, which is also his way of mixing it. What will be the end of his struggle? I think he will soon be avenged by the Russians, just like his father, living with his parents in heaven. What do you think?
But does it matter? In this era, as long as it's cool now...
